Plus Technologies-Development Engineer Level 1

Description: This is an entry level position intended to provide the new developers the opportunity to gain formal training and on-the-job training leading to responsible positions in the Plus Technologies Development field. To assist the other engineers in the complete development cycle of existing products and new product development. To provide pre-sales technical support to the sales organization and to provide technical support to customers and resellers.

Typical activities of this position would include, but would not be limited to:

* Thoroughly learn all aspects of the current product offerings.
* Provide technical support to Sales for customers and business partners.
* Direct participation in product specification, project planning, and development activities (coding).
* Direct participation in quality testing of all products.
* Participate in script creation for the improvement of installation procedures and software generation procedures.
* Delivery of products to production for logistics and distribution.
* Follow up on all support calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Other technically related tasks that may arise and be assigned from time to time to fulfill the corporate objectives.
* Generation of software for special media requests.
* Customer documentation for all projects/procedures.

Qualifications:

* Four year college degree, or equivalent education
* Necessary technical training to meet the other job requirements
* Possess sound problem solving skills
* Initiative to carry out multiple tasks and assignments with little supervision while keeping management appraised of progress and concerns
* Possess interpersonal skills that create good relationships with customers and peers
* Possess high level of communications skills both verbal and written
