Plus Technologies-Report and Document Management Sales Mgr

Description: This is a revenue producing position dealing with the sale of Report /Document Management Systems for the Plus Technologies division of Digital Controls&nbspthrough direct contact with customers or prospects.

Typical activities of this position would include, but would not be limited to:

* Calling on mid-level managers in the finance or customer support department
* Generate leads and opportunities by calling on customers.
* Follow-up on leads generated from marketing activity
* Generate professional written proposals.
* Making presentations to customers in person or over web/telephone.
* Assist customers with project approval and overcome obstacles to close transactions

Principal Accountabilities:

* Revenue results vs. quota
* Gross margin results vs. quota
* Customer maintenance renewals
* Fiscal responsibility in controlling expenses

Qualifications:

* Post secondary education, preferably a four year college degree
* Ability to discuss business needs with executive management
* Knowledge of paper intensive business processes
* Minimum of three years experience in the IT Industry preferably in software
* Minimum 3 years proven experience with direct face-to-face sales
* Understand technology and how it solves business problems
* Excellent oral and written skills for presentations and proposals
