Supported Applications
OM Plus is a print spooling software product that operates at the operating system level. Except where bundled into third party applications (see branded/oem partners) OM Plus is typically sold as an add-on module to an existing enterprise software product. Connectivity with enterprise software products is accomplished in a proven, reliable way at the operating system level.
Enterprise applications create the documents, invoke the appropriate driver, then hand the print job off to the operating system’s spooling system. It is at this point that OM Plus will ingest the job. OM Plus can also ingest jobs via lpd/lpr, web services, and other means so jobs from mainframes and other systems can be easily ingested. In these ways OM Plus can be seamlessly integrated with application software products without changes to the application.
