CD Plus Adds Function to Rx Printing

CD Plus Adds Function to Rx Printing

Plus TechnologiesTamper Resistant Print (TRP) software creates customer value when used to print prescriptions on plain paper by printing on laser printers with plain paper. TRP utilizes a variety of technologies that prevent unwanted copying of prescriptions. OM Plus print software ingests the Rx data from a host system such as Epic, Cerner, McKesson, and other EMR systems – then massages the data – then invokes the appropriate Rx template – then sends them to the laser printer.

However, in some situations customers require “White Rx Jobs” mixed into the data stream. A White Rx document is a plain ‘tamper resistant’ document without any Rx information on it so the doctor can write the script out him/herself. The issue is how to determine and sort out regular Rx jobs from White jobs. That is where CD Plus comes in. CD Plus uses ‘context based triggers’ found in the document to differentiate Rx from White jobs. Printers only need one tray (saving cost) and one queue to handle standard, Rx and Rx white jobs because CD Plus intelligently differentiate between job type and uses electronic form instead of pre-printed paper.

OM Plus i-Sat: Greater Scalability and Ease

New Features for OM Plus i-Sat: Greater Scalability and Ease

OM Plus i-Sat is Plus Technologies’ internet based cloud printing service.
i-Sat consists of Plus Technologies developed software that enables organizations to use the internet to securely deliver print jobs from one location to another. This cloud printing service is perfect for organizations with distributed locations such as satellite offices, retail outlets, labs, or health care clinics.

OM Plus i-Sat

OM Plus i-Sat has some new features that allow for greater scalability and ease. Including:
– Synchronization feature for multiple i-Sat gateways in customer data centers.
– Provides easy addition of gateway servers to handle more i-Sats (and thus more printers too).
– Enables higher scalability with (F5) load balanced environments.
– Available for customer testing (with F5 load balancers). Before this, customers with load balancers have had to do this (update all gateways) themselves, and keep number of gateways to a minimum in order to minimize chance of error due to not having them sync’ed.
– Available as a web service and (web) UI.
– Multi-user access to gateways to add/change/delete entries.
In addition, with greater number of i-Sats comes the potential for greater number of user/admins or programmatic administration of i-Sats. This allows multiple sites to be administered at the same time, without delaying access to administration functions for the others.

OM Plus Delivery Manager Solves Problem for Retailer

Output Software Solves Problem for Largest US Grocery Retailer

OM Plus Delivery Manager (DM) is being utilized by the US’s largest food retailer in their cold storage warehousing.
Delivery trucks arrive at a cold storage warehouse with food items in bulk. These items need to be split into store shipments and repacked for their individual stores. In this process, pallets are loaded onto the receiving area floor of the Distribution Center. Then customized labels are placed on the pallets so drivers know which truck needs to receive the pallet.

OM Plus Delivery Manager (DM) Solution

This is when OM Plus Delivery Manager streamlines the process by seamlessly receiving the output from a home-grown system. The OM Plus software then manipulates the data to support a customized label without change to the source application, delivering the data to the appropriate high speed label bar-code printer based on data within the document output, failing the print over to a backup printer in the case of failure, and confirming that printing occurred properly, as well as emailing critical error notifications based on defined timeouts or events.
The custom label is a wrap-around label that shows on 2 sides of each pallet so forklift drivers better see the label. This speeds up the process increasing productivity and the flow of goods. The printer load balancing and fail-over technology keeps the system running so down-time is minimized.

OM Plus Tamper Resistant Printing for Healthcare

OM Plus Increases Security and Lowers Costs for Idaho Healthcare Organization

A healthcare organization in Idaho is implementing OM Plus Tamper Resistant Software (TRP) for prescription printing on plain paper. Tamper Resistant Print software uses micro-font and pantographic technologies to prevent unauthorized copying and fraud. By using plain paper instead of expensive pre-printed forms this organization will save money. In addition, TRP allows a safe/simple printing process that increases operational efficiency. In this case, OM Plus TRP receives output from the organizations’ Meditech EMR system and converts into the tamper resistant format – then delivers it to the printer.

OM Plus Tamper Resistant Printing (TRP)

Plus Technologies’ OM Plus TRP provides an alternative to expensive pre-printed forms by providing tamper resistant printing on plain paper. Moreover, OM Plus TRP can take data streams directly from ERP/EMR systems, parse the necessary data, merge it with tamper resistant technology, and deliver it to popular laser printers stocked with plain paper.

Plus Technologies TRP utilizes anti-copy void pantograph technologies, microprint, and other authentication technologies. In addition, documents created by OM Plus TRP protect our customers from unauthorized photocopying and scanning.

Simplified calibration through easy to use UI.
