Plus Technologies Supports Local Charities
Throughout the year associates at Plus Technologies may choose to dress casual Monday through Thursday. By paying $1.00 per day towards our casual fund, one can dress in casual clothes. Towards the end of the calendar year we use our casual fund to help support local charities in our community.
On Memorial Day weekend the Dayton area was ravaged by 17 tornados – many homes and businesses were destroyed or damaged. Plus Technologies donated cases of water and basic hygiene supplies to Matthew Ministries for the Dayton tornado victims. They had a center at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds where people could come and pick up survival type kits with water, snacks, and personal hygiene items until they could get placed.
Plus Technologies also donated to Brigid’s Path. Brigid’s Path is a newborn recovery center for babies that are born to addicted mothers. We donated money and they used it to buy supplies, like clothing for babies’ baby care items and personal hygiene products for the moms.
In addition, Plus Technologies donated to St Vincent DePaul: Donated socks, hats, gloves, hand sanitizer and personal care items to be given to people that come into their center that are homeless.
