A new feature found in OM Plus My Print Delivery, the powerful pull printing solution from Plus Technologies, allows users or their surrogates in clinical settings to authenticate with a card/badge tap and release print jobs associated with designated print queues. This feature is called Secure Queue Release (SQR).

A new version of OM Plus My-Print-Delivery (MPD) is now available. As of September 21st Plus Technologies will begin shipping version 3.1 of MPD.
Customers with valid support contracts will be eligible to upgrade to this new release without any additional license fees.
OM Plus My-Print-Delivery (MPD) software is Plus Technologies solution for pull printing. This type of solution is also known by other names such as: print release, pull-print, follow-me, or find-me printing. The idea behind the concept is to improve printing efficiencies by holding user documents in the print system until the user is authenticated then releases the document while physically at the printer or multifunction device itself. There are many benefits for implementing OM Plus MPD such as: saving pages printed, reducing toner consumption and cost, and increasing document security.

A new version of OM Plus Delivery Manager (DM) is now available. As of September 20th Plus Technologies will begin shipping version 3.1 of DM. The bulk of the changes to DM improve system security as well as simplify installation and operations. Customers with valid support contracts will be eligible to upgrade to this new release without any additional license fees.
OM Plus DM is advanced, intelligent print spooler management software. Delivery Manager seamlessly ingests print jobs from enterprise systems and delivers them to printers, multi-function devices, fax software, email systems, and more. Rarely, changes are needed to existing ERP/EMR/WMS or other “backend systems”.
Delivery Manager (DM) provides print job routing, confirmation of delivery, load balancing, automated failover, and many other administrative features. OM Plus can also provide features such as My-Print-Delivery (MPD) for pull-printing, Tamper Resistant Print for Rx printing on plain paper, i-Sat for secure/plug & play internet print delivery for remote locations, Stats Manager for print/copy/fax/scan usage analysis, Fleet Manager for device/consumables management, and more.
OM Plus My-Print-Delivery (MPD) is Plus Technologies product for pull-printing. Pull-printing is also known as print release or in some cases follow me printing. A healthcare company recently ordered Plus Technologies’ Imprivata Certified Integration to add as an option to their existing OM Plus My-Print-Delivery (MPD) system.
With Plus Technologies certified Imprivata module this customer can now have their MPD pull-print solution integrated with Imprivats’s OneSign solution. When the user is at the printing device OM Plus MPD will seamlessly communicate with the Imprivata OneSign system to provide authentication and access management. Once authenticated by Imprivata the OM Plus MPD system will route the end user’s print jobs to the appropriate device.
This pull-print methodology along with end user authentication improves document security. MPD when combined with other OM Plus features such as user permissions, tls, encryption, and print audit tools makes OM Plus printing very secure.
