Forms on Demand (FOD) from Taylor Healthcare solves many paper-related problems such as eliminating the need for preprinted forms and allows users to print forms only as needed.
Plus Technologies integrates OM Plus My-Print-Delivery Anywhere software with Forms on Demand to provide a simple and secure document retrieval solution for local and remote users. This solution allows registrars and staff to retrieve the appropriate forms of consent, instructions, and information for their patients. It also works with popular electronic medical records products such as Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, and Meditech.
The users can view, email, and print their documents to basically any printer connected to their workstation.
- When a user is in the FOD app and wants to print/view/email a document, they go through their normal print process and select the OM Plus ‘My Print Delivery Anywhere’ print queue.
- OM Plus collects, parses and processes the documents for the username, converts them to PDF and securely holds them under the username on the OM Plus server. The documents have titles that include the MRN# and Form Name for easy identification and retrieval.
- Having the documents in a universal PDF format enables them to be easily viewed, emailed or printed to basically any printer.
- When users want to securely retrieve their documents, they click on the My Print Delivery Anywhere icon on their desktop. This opens the app where they can see their available documents.
- The ‘My Print Delivery Anywhere’ app has 2 options.
Option 1) ‘SAVE’ is a process that enables users to select documents and save them to a configurable, managed directory. From there, they can view, email and print the documents.
For security purposes, documents not retrieved from the OM Plus server or that were saved to the managed directory, are purged on a scheduled basis.
Option 2) ‘PRINT’ is an automated process that automatically pulls down their selected documents and prints them to their default printer.

About My-Print-Delivery Anywhere
My-Print-Delivery Anywhere allows home office workers to access documents created on corporate applications or networks and view, email and print to locally attached printers without the need for costly VPN connections. MPD Anywhere comes with a lightweight client and utilizes a secure https connection to present a list of available print documents authorized only for that user. The user selects which documents they would like to
view/email/print. Documents are delivered in a print ready format for their home office printer or they can be saved to be viewed, emailed and printed later.
