2017 HIMSS Conference – Plus Technologies
The 2017 HIMSS Annual Conference & Exhibition takes place February 19th–23rd in Orlando, Florida. The HIMSS conference brings together 40,000+ health IT professionals, clinicians, executives, and vendors from around the world. Included in this conference are world-class speakers, exceptional education, cutting-edge health IT products, and powerful networking. Additionally, more than 300 education programs feature keynotes, thought leader sessions, roundtable discussions, and workshops.
Healthcare is a very significant market to Plus Technologies. Therefore, team members from Plus Technologies will be present at this conference. Our presence in healthcare has grown significantly in recent years and have many of the largest healthcare organizations in the country as our customers. As an example, last month alone Plus Technologies sold OM Plus print software solutions to 5 new healthcare customers. Healthcare customers are buying Plus Technologies Delivery Manager (DM) for multi system control of their output. This includes: Epic, McKesson, Cerner, Allscripts, and other systems.
Moreover, organizations buy OM Plus pull-print (print release software) to improve document security and reduce costs. Specifically, OM Plus is the only product of our type to have Imprivata certification. Also, customers buy OM Plus Tamper Resistant Print (TRP) for Rx printing on plain paper to reduce cost and streamline operations. Aditionally, OM Plus Stats Manager (SM) captures user print statistics. Customers who choose SM have enhanced procedures to reduce waste.
While Plus Technologies will not have a booth ourselves we will be participating in our partners booths including Lexmark and Coretek.
