An integrated healthcare system has purchased OM Plus. This healthcare system, headquartered in South Dakota, provides community-based healthcare in more than 20 communities in two states. As one of the largest healthcare systems in South Dakota, this organization is comprised of five hospitals, 24 clinic locations. In addition, they employ nearly 5,000 physicians and caregivers.
Included in this order is OM Plus My-Print-Delivery (MPD) for Canon and HP devices and Stats Manager I (SM1). Additionally this order provides print spooler routing, Imprivata authentication, and streamlining IT support (to save cost). Furthermore, this solution will improve scalability to reduce the need for Windows print servers, and improving reliability.

OM Plus My-Print-Delivery ^TM Software

OM Plus My-Print-Delivery (MPD) software is Plus Technologies solution for pull printing. This type of solution is also called by other names such as print release, pull printing, Follow the User style print. The idea behind the concept is to improve printing efficiencies. This is done by holding user documents in the print system until the user releases the document while physically at the printer or multifunction device itself.

OM Plus Stats Manager

Stats Manager 1 provides detailed printer stats. This printing solutions application that enables organizations to analyze and understand the who, what, when, and where of printing, copying, faxing, and scanning in their enterprise.

By collecting print spooling data Stats Manager is able to provide user based print metrics in addition to device based data. This user based metric allows organizations to understand who is printing, what they are printing, when they are printing, what application the documents are coming from, and even the titles of the documents.

Unlike other printing solutions, Stats Manager provides scheduled reports as well as an ad-hoc query capability to enable users to search for the data as they require it.
