The largest sub-servicing mortgage firm in the United States has implemented OM Plus print spooling software to streamline operations and improve print reliability.
This Plus Technologies customer uses OM Plus print software to improve the printing of communication letters to its clients. Thousands of these letters are created monthly on an in-house software and mainframe system and sent to a Windows system for printing. This company uses HP and Savin printers for this process.
Before the OM Plus print spooler the Windows print system would fail and the customer’s letters would be lost. OM Plus print software replaces the Windows print subsystem precluding Windows failures.
With OM Plus, documents are kept in the system and can be retrieved in the case of errors. In addition, OM Plus provides end-to-end print confirmation by communicating with the printers themselves to ensure each page is printed and in the output tray. In the case of a printer error, jobs can be re-routed and users notified.
By increasing system availability and reliability OM Plus print software has improved customer service and reduced IT time spent trying to recover from errors.
