Web Client Version 3.1.3.0001 Available
A new Web Client version is now available. This new version is number 3.1.3.0001. Some of the changes/enhancements include:
An update to the View Job command in the request status screen. Previously there was a limited number of data types that the web client would allow you to view. Now only the ‘graphics’ type is unviewable (for safety reasons).
More print job formats can now viewed in the Web Client (WC) viewer including:
- Simple
- pcl-1
- zpl
- dpl
- sato
- igm-vgl
The Web Client will recognize complex data types and those jobs will be downloaded by the client’s browser where it can launch a default application. The filenames will be given an extension based on the data type.

- post-NR (.ps)
- post-DSC (.ps)
- post (.ps)
- rtf (.rtf)
The pdf data type will still be downloaded to the browser as a pdf for the browsers default behavior. In addition an enhancement to the log viewer is provided to allow users to select logs that apply to i-Sat configurations. Another update to the log view is a button that will download the currently viewed log to the users workstation.
Moreover, a new tab has been added to the System Settings screen for managing i-Sats. This screen allows the adding/removing of i-Sats as well as the requesting of logs and pushing an update to one or more i-Sats.
