Plus Technologies to Release New Web UI for Delivery Manager
A new version of the Delivery Manager (DM) print software web client is currently in QA. Also, the new version is available soon. In reality the current version of the web interface is relatively old and was in need of an upgrade. In response to customer input Plus Technologies has re-architected the UI and will be releasing the new version in phases. The first phase of the new web client will focus on the destinations screen.
There are several functional enhancements that users will notice immediately. Moreover, these enhancements include an upgraded look/feel, advanced and easy to use search and filtering, and increased customization. Furthermore, the new interface allows users to add, remove, and shift columns to make the interface more easily readable. Also, the screen has a simple counter that shows you the total number of jobs in each common status (INT, READY, HELD and ACTIVE). In addition, some other new features include editable filtering on text field with wildcards, GT/LT style filtering on page fields, and easily selective filtering on job status and more.
Future releases will focus more on the configuration screens. Customers on support are welcome to upgrade to the new client for no charge.
