Plus Technologies has developed a pull print solution for HP devices. The first version of this solution will be based on an embedded app in the device itself. Users can identify themselves at the device by entering a user name and pin. OM Plus will then authenticate the user and display the users print jobs on the device display. Users can select the needed jobs and release the ones desired. OM Plus will direct those jobs to the device for printing. In addition, OM Plus will also include the use of card readers.
OM Plus My-Print-Delivery (MPD) software is Plus Technologies solution for pull printing. Commonly known as Follow the User style print. This type of solution is also called by other names such as print release, pull printing, Follow the User style print. The idea behind the concept is to improve printing efficiencies by holding user documents in the print system until the user releases the document while physically at the printer or multifunction device itself.
