PrinterLogic Version Includes OM Plus Integration
PrinterLogic will soon be announcing the availability of Printer Installer 17.1. Among other things, this newest version will feature Plus Technologies OM Plus integration. This new version of Printer Installer 17.1 includes OM Plus client based agent software. This provides integration between the two products. With the OM Plus agent, any printers defined to PrinterLogic can now also be automatically added to OM Plus Delivery Manager (DM). Furthermore, front-end print jobs (end user printing via the Windows print experience) can be routed through OM Plus DM system for delivery to the printer. This process eliminates the need for Windows print servers, adds the print management features inherent in OM Plus DM such as confirmed delivery, fail-over, notification, pull-print, etc, and captures print statistics.
With this release PrinterLogic is also able to resell OM Plus DM to its customers. Moreover, PrinterLogic has received training from Plus Technologies to take first calls for technical support.
