Healthcare System Chooses Plus Technologies Rx (TRP) Solution

Plus Technologies has sold (TRP) tamper resistant technology to dozens of hospitals and healthcare systems. Recently another hospital selected Plus Technologies plain paper Rx (prescription) solution to help reduce costs and increase Rx security.

In this case the customer is acquiring a production, backup and test systems for their prescription printing needs. The solution is based on PT’s Delivery Manager (DM) print spooling system technology with the Tamper Resistant Print (TRP) option.

OM Plus Delivery Manager (DM) will ingest print output form the customer’s Allscripts EMR system – parse the details – and pass the necessary information to the TRP system to create Rx on plain paper.

OM Plus My-Print-Delivery (MPD) is Plus Technologies product for pull-print. Pull-print is also known as print release or in some cases Follow the User style print. My-Print-Delivery improves printing efficiency and security by holding a user’s “printed” documents on a secure print server until the user walks up to a convenient printer and authenticates/releases their jobs. As well as “Follow the User style print.”
