New Versions of OM Plus Delivery Manager (DM) and My-Print-Delivery (MPD)

New versions of OM Plus Delivery Manager (DM) and My-Print-Delivery (MPD) print software are in development and are coming soon. Plus Technologies’ software engineers are nearly finished significant enhancements to Delivery Manager (DM) and My-Print-Delivery (MPD).

Delivery Manager is a market leading output management software solution that routes print jobs from the source system all the way to the printer tray and adds numerous value add features along the way. Features such as load balancing, automated failover, intelligent/context based routing, print confirmation, error notification, statistics and more.

My-Print-Delivery is Plus Technologies’ pull-print (sometimes called print release) solution. MPD allows end user print jobs to be held by the MPD system. MPD then routes the jobs to the printer once the user is identified and authenticated. A major benefit of MPD is the integration with back-end systems like EMR’s (eg Epic, Cerner), ERP’s (SAP, Oracle),  WMS, and Single Sign-on (eg Imprivata)  systems for the delivery of print jobs created by those systems.

These new releases are expected to be completed in the next month and will provide significant enhancements in the following areas.

  • DM installation improvements
  • MPD configuration simplification
  • Improved card reader integration
  • Enhanced security with support for TLS 1.2
  • Adding more print statistics
  • MPD application for Ricoh
  • Changes to support Lexmark esf application changes

A large auto supply company chooses OM Plus Delivery Manager for SAP printing

A large auto supply company that services customers in over 150 countries has selected OM Plus DM for SAP printing. The company uses a combination of QAD and SAP over multiple server system serving over 500 printers for its ERP solution. Since QAD and SAP R3 rely on the limited native Operating System for printing, they began looking for a solution with greater reliabilty and functionality.
